The central team appreciates the effort of all the graduates that filled in the questionnaire and that raised attention to the study among other colleagues from the addressed cohorts. </p> <p align="justify">This year, besides the classic methods of contact, mail letter and e-mail, the application methodology brought forward some new elements, that aimed at facilitating the access to the questionnaire and to the information regarding the tracer study for the graduates that weren&rsquo;t in the university&rsquo;s database or for which the e-mail address wasn&rsquo;t available. Therefore, they received the invitation to participate in the study after registering their data through an on-line form available on the project&rsquo;s website or were contacted through the short messages service, if their mobile phone number was in the database.&nbsp;<br /><br />The next period of time data processing will take place, which means that the data will be validated, corrected and coded for the data analysis and interpretation process. During this last round, the graduates that found out about the tracer study from other sources and want to fill in the questionnaire can register their data (first name, last name, class, e-mail address etc) through an on-line form, available at inregistrare.absolvent-univ.ro. After they register, the graduates receive an e-mail of invitation with the access code that has been alloted to them. <br />The graduates that couldn&rsquo;t be reached by e-mail will also be contacted, this time receiving mobile phone messages.</p> <p align="justify">The current stage was preceded by other four, during which more than 6000 graduates accessed the questionnaire. The main method of contacting the graduates is by e-mail, regular mail standing as second means of contact only for the universities that choose to send postal invitations.<br /><br /></p> <p align="justify">The study is conducted similarly to the one for the 2005 and 2009 cohorts and consists in applying an on-line questionnaire. Accounts on the first results of the survey” Workshop http://absolvent-univ.ro/459/section.aspx/571 <p align="justify">The workshop was 2 days long and was held&nbsp;in November 2011,&nbsp; at the National Institute of Statistics in Bucharest, bringing together approximately 100 representatives from the higher education institutions involved in the project, as well as representatives from the central institutions in the area of education -&nbsp; The Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports, The Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, The National Authority for Qualifications.&nbsp; A number of 58 universities answered the invitation, including those that will send out the questionnaire during the extension year and haven&rsquo;t participated in the project in the first phase of implementation.&nbsp; INCHER Kassel, the external partner of the project, also participated in the workshop, with Professor Ulrich Teichler - senior researcher at the centre, with an experience of more then 30 years in the field -&nbsp; as invited speaker.</p> <p align="justify"><br />The first part of the workshop was dedicated to the presentation of the field phase for the 2005 and 2009 cohorts and to the debate of the first descriptive results for the given cohorts, at national and European level.
